Weekend of Exciting Matches Ahead for EPL
While most people are winding down ahead of the weekend, the men in the English Premier League (EPL) are gearing up for a fight in the United Kingdom.
Kicking things off will be Newcastle United taking on Leeds United on Saturday, 13 May, at Elland Road Stadium in Leeds. Despite lacking the home turf advantage, predictions favour Newcastle – who are currently sitting in third place on the EPL table with 65 points – to win.
Just a few hours later, Chelsea will be facing off against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge Stadium in London. The managerless Blues have had a rough season so far, with a series of sore losses putting them at 42 points in the English rankings.
Despite their recent rocky patch, pundits are favouring Chelsea to win this match.
Current EPL leaders with 82 points, Man City, will have a chance to stretch their legs as they take on Everton at Goodison Park Stadium in Liverpool on Sunday, 14 May. Everton last won a match against the Citizens in January 2017, making experts believe the trend is unlikely to change anytime soon.
Arsenal – who are just one point behind Man City on the prestigious rankings table – will be taking on Brighton Hove & Albion later in the day. Predictions expect the Gunners to win the match at their home, Emirates Stadium in London.
